PengoStarz, also known as Papy Pengo, was born and raised in Kintambo, Kinshasa. He is the latest hottest export from the Congolese music scene, based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He has become a celebrity, performing for politicians and football stars alike, and his fame has spread far and wide.
PengoStarz's latest single, "Leve-toi", has gained recognition across Africa. He has released several singles and EPs, and is currently working on his debut album. His style is unique, blending traditional Congolese rhythms with modern production techniques to create a sound that is both innovative and fresh. His goal is to bring the vibrant culture of the Congo to the world.
His sound design for the Nigerian basketball team has earned him major recognition from commercial music industry players. The release date of his debut album is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be released in 2023.
